Boosting Green Employment and Enterprise Opportunities in Ghana – also known as GrEEn – is a four year joint project from the European Union, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana, the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) and SNV.
With funding from the European Union in Ghana and through partnership with MDF West Africa, Ghana Innovation Hub, Kumasi Hive & I-Code, the program, using Bridge for Billions’ online incubation platform aims to support start-ups and entrepreneurs in green businesses in the Ashanti and Western regions despite social distancing measures in place.
Who can join the program?
If you’re a young entrepreneur involved in circular economic work or green business and living in the Ashanti or Western region of Ghana, you’re eligible to apply! Your business should also be in one of these 3 sectors of innovation:
You’ll work on your project following a methodology that has helped over 1,000 entrepreneurs in +60 countries.
The platform offers a learn-by-doing approach inspired by MIT’s Disciplined Entrepreneurship and you’ll get to generate a business plan in PDF.
Develop your project from wherever you are in the world through the digital platform. No limits, no excuses.
It offers a gamified and step by step experience that allows entrepreneurs to challenge every aspect of their business and structure their model. Far from theory, the pedagogy pushes you to formulate your ideas and answer the tough questions. It invites you to “get out there”, talk to people, research, and validate your ideas. Mentors & Program Managers will be there every week to challenge your assumptions, give a fresh perspective and support you.
